Church Hall for Hire!

The Church Hall at St Thomas’ was built in 1976. Over the last couple of years it has been refurbished, renovated, re-equipped and revitalised. It now makes an excellent venue for any number of events and activities!

​

With indoor and outdoor space, ramp access, kitchen and catering facilities, we have an ideal community space available to hire.

​

The large main hall will comfortably seat 80 people at tables for a sit-down meal or event, 120 people for a standing event, children’s parties, classes, rehearsals, talks and presentations. The ‘Mary Sumner Room’, with comfy seating or the option of chairs and tables, is ideal for smaller gatherings, chats, meetings or as a breakout room. Our outdoor space is great for children’s activities, play, picnics and BBQs.

We have a modern kitchen with crockery, cutlery, glassware and serving for 100 people, dishwasher and fridge. Church Hall users are able to use our catering facilities or are welcome to bring in external caterers and events teams.

We’d love to show you around and discuss needs for your planned event, party, class … or whatever you have in mind.

Our rates begin at just £12 per hour for our Small Meeting room,

The Studio rate is £20 an hour,

Regular Hall hire rates are £25 an hour,

Childrens' parties are up to 4 hours for £75.
